Engineering Adaptive Intelligence

The core engineering challenge was contextual coherence. How do you get an AI to generate a 4-week course that feels structured and logical, rather than a random list of topics?

• Hierarchical Generation: I implemented a recursive generation strategy. LearnFlow first helps the user define a high-level goal, then breaks it down into modules, and finally into individual lessons. This ensures the macro structure makes sense before the micro content is generated.
• Gemini Integration: leveraging the massive context window of Google's Gemini models allow LearnFlow to maintain the "thread" of the curriculum across multiple generated pages, referencing previous lessons to build cumulative knowledge.
• Dynamic UI Rendering: The frontend (built with Next.js and Tailwind) adapts to the content type. Code blocks, diagrams, and text are rendered dynamically based on the AI's output structure.
